Refresh your MHFA knowledge and skills with an Accredited four-hour MHFA Refresher Online

The MHFA Refresher Course is for anyone who has trained in Mental Health First Aid within the last three years
For MHFAiders who want to remain effective and confident in their role as an MHFAider by refreshing their MHFA skills and knowledge
Delegates have six months from when their MHFA certificate expires to complete the course.

Anyone who has completed their Mental Health First Aid Two-Day Course within the last 3 years and wants to refresh their knowledge and skills and maintain their MHFA certification

Over half a day’s learning (4 hours), you’ll gain knowledge and skills in:

General discussions regarding changes to mental health
Updated knowledge of issues which can affect and trigger mental ill-health, like new and evolving forms of stress
Mental health perceptions, misconceptions and stigmas
Updated frames of reference and non-judgemental conversations
Refreshed practice of supportive conversations using ALGEE
New and existing early warning signs and symptoms of mental ill-health
Updates surrounding depression and anxiety
Further discussion around first aid for suicidal crisis and prevention of suicidal crisis.
Refreshed practice of MHFA skills
Independent self-care, wellbeing and recovery
An updates list of new, useful resources

Half a day (four hours) from 9am – 1pm
or 1pm – 5pm.
